TAKARA TOMY Beyblade X Random Booster Vol. 6 CX-05 FULL SET (6pcs)

The line up this time is quite fun! The recolors of Leone, Whale, and Phoenix all look great! Plus the recolors of 4-55 and 3-85 are both more than welcome! The new Kick tip is similar to taper but has some assistance in regaining its balance, I’ve seen success with it on my Dranbuster as of late. Overall the new Reaper fusion wheel is a bit underwhelming, but not necessarily bad, but definitely the weakest of the CX line. My brother absolutely adores the blue Hells Reaper you can assemble from the set! Though he’s Opt to run it on the 3-85 from the set with High Needle, it looks great and functions surprisingly well for high needle! The two prize beys are great too! Though IMO it’s more often than not necessary to pair them with a more aggressive bey to keep battles intresting, they both lack the stamina and attack power to do anything against more bulky beys like Wizzard Rod, Silver Wolf, and Golem Rock. Finally I must say that the only real dud in the set is the Phoenix, which is a shame too because it looks cool. But we already have had low flat rereleased several times, multiple in gray for that matter (more of a bluish gray but still), It could’ve been a good opportunity to put in a recolor of a part that’s yet to get one like Bound Spike or one of the tips from the CX starter kits. Overall though this random booster set was more than worth the money and I do hope the next set is just as good!
