Savior Perseus as a stock combo isn’t very competitive due to its average to poor burst resistance. You may see the name Bearing’ and expect strong burst resistance but this dash driver doesn’t give you the tight springs you may expect, Bearing dash only upgrades the original bearing with weak springs to average springs. Spring strength in drivers is one of the biggest factors which determines a Bey’s burst resistance. Another reason for Savior Perseus’ weak burst resistance comes from the Savior blade. The Savior blade has rubber contact points which causes a lot more friction than plastic contact points, this extra friction leads to more bursts, mainly from Perseus itself. Other than these two parts, the included Giga disc and Perseus core are both useful parts that have good use for stamina Bey combos. Although the Savior blade and Bearing’ driver have viable use individually for combos, together they lead to a counterintuitive stamina Bey that bursts too easily. All in all, Savior Perseus is still a great DB Bey to buy for its useful parts when held at this affordable price.
