TAKARA TOMY SILVER Beyblade BURST String Launcher / Long BeyLauncher L (Left Spin) B-00

Got this as a gift for Christmas and it's hard to say I would recommend it. Maybe I just got a lemon, but I took it out of the bag, and used it with my Drain Fafnir. I must say, it was a pretty good launcher, for about 3 uses, until the string got stuck in place and wouldn't move. I've experienced this trouble before, as it's an eventual fate with many string launchers (but it most definitely shouldn't happen out of the box). So, I got out my screwdriver and got to work. Took 3 screws out, and the 4th screw was heavily worn, to the point where no screwdriver would fit in to take it out. So as a solution, my dad and I used a screw remover and essentially gutted the slot to get it out, effectively breaking a part of the frame in order to open it up, and from that point I could solve the problem to the best of my ability. As it would turn out, the string had become uncoiled inside the launcher. I was able to re-coil it and place the gear unit back in its slot, and now the handle hangs out by about an inch, but works again. It's an ok launcher, I definitely wouldn't recommend it for any modern competitive use, but for the trouble I had to go through to make it work, I find it hard to recommend.
